Who eats insects?

People have consumed insects for thousands of years.
In Thailand, for example, open-air markets sell silkworms, grasshoppers, and water bugs by the pound.

Today, it is estimated that more than half the people of the world eat a variety of bugs as snacks and as a nutritious food source.
